Trusted Local Hearing Care Available For North Haven, CT

Originally part of Wallingford, Cheshire, CT was settled in 1694, known as New Cheshire Parish, becoming an independent town in 1780. As an early settlement in New England, our community is home to several National Register of Historic Places sites, like the Cheshire Historic and Marion Historic Districts, the Farmington Canal Lock, and the First Congregational Church of Cheshire.

North Haven, CT began as a humble farming community on the Quinnipiac River ten miles north of the New Haven Green and was part of New Haven until 1786. Our sleepy community became livelier as the New Haven and Hartford Railroad laid its tracks along the river and travel between the two capital cities grew, continuing to be a vital part of life with 18 passenger trains stopping in North Haven every day.

Attractions like Peter’s Rock, Quinnipiac River State Park, and Wharton Brook State Park, along with several municipal parks, continue to be among the major features of our quiet town and laidback style of living today. Though we don’t see the bustling activity of Hartford or New Haven, our community contributes significantly to the economy of Connecticut, hosting Medtronic, O.F. Mossberg and Sons, XPO Logistics, United Aluminum Corporation, and an Amazon fulfillment center.

Quinnipiac University is also an important feature of our community, providing undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees for doctors, nurses, lawyers, teachers, and a variety of other areas of academic pursuit. In the same way that railroads and major thoroughfares are critical to keeping communities connected for commerce, your hearing is a critical element in keeping you connected to friends, family, and coworkers.

You can stay connected thanks to our co-founder, Dr. Bauman, who continues to have a major impact on the hearing care industry.
